Eleanor Burnham was delighted to meet members of Merched y Wawr and Breast Care Wales who were in the Senedd last week to launch a new book "Lwmp Mam". "Lwmp Mam" has been published to increase the awareness of, interest in or promote discussion of Wales; and/or the diverse aspects of Welsh life.

Eleanor Burnham, Welsh Liberal Democrat Assembly Member for North Wales has today given her full support to FILMCLUB an innovative project which provides pupils and teachers the chance to explore the world of film through after school film clubs. Whilst this scheme is proving hugely beneficial to English schoolchildren, with almost 3000 schools already participating in England, there are only funds for 11 schools in Wales and no schools taking part in the pilot project from North Wales.

"The Vale of Clwyd's regeneration is long overdue, not only in Rhyl but in Prestatyn and other coastal towns in North Wales. Improvements have been promised, but the recession has hit the construction industry hard and there have been major setbacks to some projects.
