Burnham congratulates new Children's Commissioner for Wales.

Eleanor Burnham, Welsh Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Children and Young People, today congratulated Keith Towler on his appointment as the new Children's Commissioner for Wales.

Ms Burnham said: "As the spokesperson for Children and Young People and a member of the assembly committee, I am delighted to have been involved in this appointment and look forward to working with him on behalf of the children of Wales.

"Our first piece of work will be on children's advocacy, a constant concern for the previous Children's Commissioner, and I have no doubt that Keith Towler will have an important input into this vital review."
